Burma Storybook (2017)

A hardcover book of poetry and photography to accompany our film Burma Storybook. We feature all of the Burmese poets with whom we worked, and their complete poems – in both Burmese and English. We were fortunate to work with the world renowned photographer Dana Lixenberg. We also include biographical essays about each of the poets – essays about persecution and the art of writing, written together with our poetry consultant Khin Aung Aye. We see the book as an offering of thanks to our poets in Myanmar.
