Self-Portrait Video Project cairo (2011-12)

Right in the aftermath of the Tahrir Square Egyptian revolution of 2011, Corinne van Egeraat conducted a year-long personal storytelling video workshop with twelve young Egyptain artists. The theme was: the timeless notion of the artist’s self-portrait and how it can be incorporate in innovative technology-driven trends in communication. This was just the beginning of the video selfie era.
